Description
An aged Tequila from the brilliant Patrón in Mexico, this Añejo offering is aged in a combination of French oak, Hungarian oak, and American whiskey barrels for over 12 months. The bottle itself is a hand-made piece of art, but the contents are truly sublime. A prime sipping Tequila, we’d also recommend trying this one in an agave-based twist on an Old Fashioned.
Country: Mexico
ABV: 40%
Nose: This tequila has a warm aroma of vanilla and oak with a complexity that’s uncommon among other tequilas.
Taste: Fresh and clean. Cinnamon, sandalwood, grassy herbaceousness, rich vanilla fudge, gingerbread and black pepper spice with faint chocolate brownie, a touch of zesty lemon and Galia melon.
Finish: caramel and smoky finish.
