Description
The name is French for “cloud”, and the style matches it: soft, light and clean. It’s made by Distillerie Merlet & Fils, a family distillery with five generations of experience in the Cognac region.
What makes it different: It is distilled six times and filtered three times, using top-quality cereals from northern France and pure Charentes water, with a final charcoal filtration that gives it its roundness and softness. The result is exceptionally smooth, with no harshness.
Tasting notes: A very subtle nose, then a palate with no bitterness or harshness, lots of roundness and freshness, delicate and simple. Serve it frozen alongside caviar or smoked salmon, or use it as a clean base for classic cocktails and long drinks.
