Description
The fruity, rounded step up. It’s aged at least four years and mostly made from Fins Bois, a cru known for its fruitiness and for maturing quickly in barrel. Petite Champagne cognacs add complexity.
What makes it different: Instead of the heavy oak and caramel of many VSOPs, the house style here is intense but subtle fruit.
Tasting notes: Light brown with an amber hue. The nose is delicate and very fruity, with white-fleshed fruit and peach. The palate is round and supple, with a very fruity finish. Enjoy it neat, or in a Horse’s Neck or Cognac Collins. Wine Enthusiast rated it 90 points.
